- Wiring the CP Overview Allow me to start this page with some basic descriptions of how each step will be done. We have used the standard Happ buttons and Competition joysticks in the control panel. They use a standard Cherry switch, which is wired with 22 gauge stranded wire inserted into a .187 quick disconnect.

- The wiring was done with CAT5 Cable cut from the middle of a longer patch cable. CAT5 cable is simply inserted into each keystone jack, much as you would with a normal network wall outlet. The other end of the wires is screwed down on the IPAC terminal much as you would any wire.

First is to wire the input connection which will run directly to your JPAC (or IPAC, I’ll get into that in a moment). The second is to daisy-chain the power from the existing switches to power the LEDs.

- Nov 27, 2016 · Setup is pretty stright forward. Each of the button switches has a ground terminal and a signal terminal. I ran a daisy-chained black wire as my ground between the buttons and back to the 1st pin on the IPAD "GND". Then I ran the color wires from the signal terminals of the switches back to their corresponding pins on the IPAC.
- The Mini-PAC and I-PAC UIO use a supplied wiring harness. The harness comes in two sections. There is a "daisy-chain" ground harness and a 32-way switch harness. The first step is to connect the male end of the black ground harness to the black wire on the main harness. Then connect to every switch. The example below shows 3 connected switches:
